About Us:
Amarillo Industrial Repair is an industrial repair shop. We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
•
Greet and assist clients, visitors, and team members professionally.
•
Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
•
Answer emails and respond to inquiries and complaints.
•
Send emails on behalf of others and manage correspondence.
•
Handle paperwork, including data entry, filing, and document organization.
•
Open and manage new accounts.
•
Schedule and coordinate meetings.
•
Organize and clean the office to maintain a professional workspace.
•
Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
•
Coordinate catering for meetings and company events.
•
Work within our system to process jobs and keep work moving efficiently.
•
Prepare and send quotes for jobs.
•
Provide general administrative support to ensure the office runs efficiently.
Qualifications:
•
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•
Strong typing skills.
•
Exceptional time management and attention to detail.
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office software.
•
Previous administrative experience preferred.
•
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
•
Customer service experience is a plus.
•
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
•
8 hour shift
•
Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
