Mountain Air Mechanical is currently looking for HVAC apprentices with experience to help us work on our projects throughout the valley. You’d oversee many interesting and diverse jobs from start to finish.

6 months HVAC experience preferred but not required, driver’s license required. Position may require work outdoors, sitting or standing for long periods of time. Must have the ability to lift 100lbs, climb ladders, and crawl into tight spaces. These are just some of the physical requirements expected in this position.

Must be able to handle heavy work load with interruptions, be able to work under pressure, strong communication skills, basic knowledge of hand tools, ability to read a tape measure, able to follow instructions, a desire to learn the HVAC trade.

Your responsibilities can include:

· Learn the HVAC Trade

o Follow mechanic’s instructions.

o Able to correctly and safely use company provided hand tools as well as employee provided hand tools.

o Understand the materials and equipment used in the HVAC trade.

o Learn to read and understand construction documents.

o Learn basic layout skills.

o Perform basic tasks with less supervision.

o Pay attention to the details of the work.

· Keep Truck Clean and Organized

· Keep Job Site Clean and Organized

· Notify Mechanic to Order When Materials are Low

· Layout Tools for Mechanic

· Get Materials for Mechanic as Needed

· Ensure a Safe Working Environment.

Secondary Responsibilities

· Perform Shop Tasks to Ability

· Begin Learning Shop Fabrication
