•

Install, configure, program, and maintain automation equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and instrumentation.

•

Diagnose and troubleshoot automation and control system issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

•

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on automation systems, including sensors, actuators, instrumentation, and control networks.

•

Read and interpret electrical, instrumentation, and control system schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

•

Conduct testing, calibration, and inspections of instrumentation equipment to verify system integrity and compliance with safety standards.

•

Work with engineers and operations teams to develop and implement process improvements.

•

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, such as NEC, OSHA, and NFPA.

•

Maintain accurate documentation of automation system configurations, modifications, and maintenance activities.

•

Stay up to date with advancements in automation technology and participate in ongoing training programs.

Qualifications:

•

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in automation, electrical, or instrumentation technology preferred.

•

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.

•

Strong understanding of PLCs, VFDs, SCADA, and industrial instrumentation.

•

Knowledge of industrial networking protocols, such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus.

•

Ability to read and interpret electrical and control system schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.

•

Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
