About This Job

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Installer to join our team. A Cabinet Installer is responsible for the installation of cabinets on customer jobsites. They are also responsible for all trim work, communication with the customer during the process, and final confirmation of job completion to a Project Manager.

Duties

•

Follow standard woodworking procedures and work with woodworking machinery, tools, and techniques.

•

Load cabinets and other finished projects into a truck or trailer for delivery to the customer.

•

Unload and install cabinets or other finished projects onto jobsites.

•

Maintain an orderly and neat work environment on job sites, in the shop, and in company vehicles.

•

Maintain a proper stock of equipment in company vehicles to minimize the need for mid-job hardware store trips. Communicate with the Purchasing Agent about needs for installation.

•

Maintain and report issues with company vehicles.

•

Maintain and ensure all tools are working safely and properly, including oiling, replacing saw blades, and cleaning tools regularly.

•

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Skills

•

High school degree or GED required, trade school certificate or field experience preferred.

•

Familiarity with woodworking machinery, tools, and techniques.

•

Basic math skills, using tape measure, speed square, reading and comprehending instructions and dimensions.

•

Self-initiating person who can prioritize and possesses good problem-solving skills.

•

Ability to understand verbal and written instructions and envision all steps in assigned tasks.

•

Valid driver’s license.

•

Ability to lift to 100lbs and perform a variety of physically demanding activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
