CDL Class A or CDL Class B with Tanker- Water truck

Role Summary:

Our CDL Drivers are home daily and do not go OTR. The CDL Driver (Class A or Class B with Tanker) is responsible for safely operating water truck to haul loads of water from various locations and transfer fluids between locations. Must evaluate the daily load hauling schedule and follow company ordered bonded routes.

Basic Job Duties

Safely operate water truck to haul loads of water from various locations and transfer fluids between locations. Must evaluate the daily load hauling schedule and follow company ordered bonded routes.

Production Water Drivers assist in cleanup of spills on locations as directed by supervisor.

Closely measure tanks when hauling water transferring oil daily to ensure accuracy.

Work closely with other drivers and offer assistance as needed.

Complete tickets at locations as well as at the disposal, report how many bbls, were hauled/transferred and how long it takes.

Accurately complete all paperwork such as time sheets, water tickets, and records of loads hauled/transferred daily and submit to supervisor.

Must fill out Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report (per DOT regulations), Vehicle Inspection Report, and Driver Daily Log each day and submit to supervisor daily.

Evaluate trucks daily to ensure they are maintained and in good working condition.

Must keep vac pump greased and oiled, check oil, tires, hoses and fittings daily. Notify supervisor of all problems immediately and perform minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs as necessary.
