Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL Class A Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can manage their own operations while ensuring timely and safe delivery of products.

Responsibilities

•

Operate various types of trucks including dump trucks, flatbeds, tankers, belly, side dumps and truck & trailers.

•

Job would be delivery of aggregates to construction jobsites and customers.

•

Execute route driving with precision, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

•

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs and invoices.

•

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.

•

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.

•

Manage maintenance and repairs on the vehicle as needed to ensure optimal performance.

•

Person with experience of operator work, such as backhoe, blade, etc. would be ideal.

Experience

•

Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).

•

Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.

•

Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
