CNC Programmer
Location: Tucson, AZ | Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6 AM – 2:30 PM (Opportunity for overtime)

We are a precision machining facility serving both high-mix/low-volume and high-volume production for aerospace, satellite, rocket, and defense customers. Our AS9100-registered processes are supported by continuous investment in technology—DMG MORI 5-axis mills, mill-turn centers, and horizontal machining centers—and by a highly collaborative engineering team committed to staying at the cutting edge of manufacturing practices.
Key Responsibilities
•Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling and turning operations in Mastercam; generate accurate G-code and clear setup documentation.
•Set up machines, and prove out first-article parts on the shop floor.
•Design fixtures and other work-holding solutions in SolidWorks.
•Collaborate closely with machinists and quality personnel to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.
•Contribute to continuous-improvement initiatives that reduce setup time, extend tool life, and streamline documentation.
Required Qualifications
•1+ years of CNC programming experience (vocational background considered).
•Proficiency in Mastercam for milling or turning; familiarity with SolidWorks for basic fixture design.
•Ability to interpret GD&T and inspection requirements for tight-tolerance aluminum, stainless-steel, and titanium components.
•Working knowledge of G-code, cutter compensation, probing macros, and standard shop safety practices.
•U.S. work authorization (ITAR compliance).
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
•3+ years programming complex multi-axis parts, including 5-axis milling or mill-turn.
•Experience designing fixtures for high-volume production.
•Familiarity with AS9100 documentation practices and first-article inspection requirements.
•Exposure to statistical process control (SPC) or data-driven process optimization.
•Mentoring or training experience with operators / setup personnel.
Compensation
•Hourly Rate: $25 – $40/hr DOE
•Eligible for a discretionary annual profit-sharing bonus based on both company and individual performance.
