Superintendent – Commercial & Healthcare Construction (Traveling Role)

Location: North Carolina (with up to 75% Travel)

Are you a seasoned Superintendent ready to take the lead on dynamic commercial and healthcare projects?

We’re partnering with a respected General Contractor seeking an experienced Superintendent to manage exciting projects across healthcare, banks, offices, and light industrial sectors. Based in North Carolina, this role offers the opportunity for substantial travel (up to 75%), balanced with local project opportunities.

Your Impact:

•

Lead daily operations on-site, managing timelines, budgets, safety, and quality standards.

•

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring efficient workflow and project delivery.

•

Serve as the main on-site contact, fostering strong relationships with clients, architects, and engineers.

•

Monitor and enforce safety compliance, implementing proactive solutions to project challenges.

•

Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior management and project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

•

Proven experience as a Superintendent, ideally in healthcare, office interiors, or commercial construction.

•

Comfortable with up to 75% travel for project assignments, along with local site management.

•

Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple trades effectively.

•

Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, scheduling, and quality control.

•

Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents.
