Construction Surveyor

Job Summary

Now accepting applications for an experienced CONSTRUCTION SURVEYOR. Looking for a surveyor who is dependable and reliable, with the ability to work weekdays and some Saturdays as needed. Must be able to work independently under minimal supervision.

Construction Surveyor:

Stakes right of way lines;

Uses surveying instruments and tools to produce layouts;

Responsible for performing preliminary survey work necessary for preparing plans and estimating costs for construction work;

Prepares plats of survey as necessary;

Functions as construction supervisor for construction projects;

Inspects to ensure that proper compliance with construction specifications is adhered to;

Reviews preliminary construction plans to ensure proper quantities, dimensions, special provisions and overall completeness;

Meet with field superintendents and project managers to determine their survey requirements;

Field work as required;

Other duties as necessary.
