About This Job

Qualifications:

•

Valid Crane Operator Certification required such as Provincial Trade Credential or Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Crane Ticket

•

CSTS, Fall Protection, and Aerial Work Platform certification required.

•

Minimum of 2 years experience in structural erection or related construction field.

•

Possess a valid Class 5 Drivers License and reliable transportation to project site locations

•

High Attention to detail, organized.

•

Strong willingness to learn.

•

Expert knowledge of and experience with solid understanding of crane operations and safety procedures.

•

Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor and work at heights.

•

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

•

Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.

•

Positive attitude and the ability to maintain optimism and enthusiasm, even in challenging situations.

•

Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment, respecting and valuing the contributions of all team members.

Duties:

•

Conduct preoperational checks.

•

Complete necessary documentation during pre and pot projects.

•

Perform routine maintenance on the crane.

•

Safely maneuver the crane on site to the designated location, considering factors of construction and maneuverability

•

Perform structural ironworking tasks such as operate crane to hoist structural steel members, move and position heavy loads, materials and equipment as needed.

•

Ensure all loads are properly secured and balanced.

•

Comply with all safety regulations and company policies and procedures.

•

Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

•

Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to project plans and schedules.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

•

Overtime required: ensure projects are completed on time.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34.00-$38.00 per hour
