Requirements:

•

Minimum 5 years of diesel mechanic experience

•

Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

•

Own tools preferred, but not required

Duties

•

Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, including troubleshooting electrical systems and mechanical components.

•

Conduct routine maintenance on tractor-trailer units, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.

•

Repair or replace shocks, struts, and other suspension components to enhance vehicle performance.

•

Provide tire services including installation, rotation, and balancing as needed.

•

Utilize power tools and industrial equipment safely and effectively during repair processes.

•

Operate forklifts to move parts and equipment as necessary within the shop environment.

•

Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, parts used, and services rendered for customer reference.

•

Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair status.

Experience

•

Proven experience in diesel engine repair with a solid understanding of heavy-duty vehicles.

•

Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance is preferred.

•

Experience in electrical diagnostics and repair is a plus.

•

Ability to work with various power tools safely and efficiently.

•

Previous customer service experience is highly valued to ensure client satisfaction during service interactions.

•

A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to diesel technology are advantageous.
