As we continue to grow, we're seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Director who can lead our people-operations and manage complex payroll processes across our diverse organizational structure.
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced HR Director with a deep understanding of both human resources strategy and multi-entity payroll operations. This role is vital to ensuring smooth HR functions across our sites and offices, while also guaranteeing payroll accuracy, compliance, and timeliness for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
•Lead all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance across multiple business entities.
•Manage and process multi-entity payroll, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
•Maintain and update HR policies and procedures that align with industry regulations and company values.
•Advise senior leadership on HR trends, workforce planning, compensation strategies, and organizational development.
•Serve as a key point of contact for labor law compliance, workers' compensation, and safety-related HR matters in collaboration with the Safety Director.
•Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
•Manage current HRIS and payroll systems to streamline processes and ensure reporting accuracy.
•Maintain accurate employee records and ensure secure handling of sensitive information.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
•Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in construction or a related field.
•Strong experience processing payroll; experience of processing payroll across multiple entities is a plus
•Familiarity with construction-specific HR challenges such as remote job sites, hourly trades, and subcontractor coordination.
•Solid understanding of labor law, OSHA standards, workers’ compensation, and benefits administration.
•Proficient in HRIS/payroll systems.
•Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
