Job Summary
Energy project development is foundational to Tenaska and central to our future. We are seeking an experienced, collaborative and self-motivated individual to help us advance existing and planned energy project development opportunities. The Director, Project Development is responsible for managing the activities necessary for the successful development of natural gas-fired power generation facilities (principally combined cycle, simple cycle and reciprocating engine), including managing relationships with the local community, preparing development plans with a detailed project schedule and budget, and managing the project development to that schedule and budget. The development plans, when executed, will minimize development cost exposure within approved guidelines while achieving development milestones as scheduled.
