About The Role

As an Electrical Engineering Supervisor you will manage a team of 10+ engineers, providing guidance, and performance feedback.

You will report to the Manager of Design Engineering & Plant Mods and be located at Columbia, SC and support the role 100% onsite.


Key Responsibilities

Set daily operational goals for individuals or teams, ensuring that policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed.
Understand engineering principles and practices, providing technical expertise and guidance to the team.
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects.
Work with project management, ensure engineering deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Ensure that projects meet quality standards and follow safety regulations and industry best practices.
Proactively driving continuous improvement and recommending alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and processes, and contribute to development of new methods and processes, and their introduction and to change management.
With cross-functional teams, including management, production, maintenance, and work management, to ensure project success.
Resolve technical challenges that arise during projects.


Qualifications

Strong business acumen.
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical (preferred) or other engineering degree field with experience in power, PLC, programming, safety systems, DCS.
12+ years of engineering experience.
Work with multiple responsibilities to coordinate the flow of information.
Strong communication with leadership and general understanding of project management and financial models.
Several L3 competencies within the Global Competency Model; some L4s.
PE license is preferred, or ability to obtain within 2 years of accepting position.
