As an Energy Storage Design Engineer (a Torus Architect), you will be instrumental in the initial phases of project development. Your responsibilities will include conducting site visits, developing preliminary (10%) system designs that can be permitted/installed, and maintaining direct communication with customers. During the design phase of the project it will be important to understand the electrical infrastructure that exists at each site to best plan the method of interconnection and establish the value that can be delivered to the customer. You will also need to assess the site and consider the space and grade constraints to set the project up for a successful and cost effective installation. Technical expertise in hardware, electrical systems, and energy consumption analysis will set you up for success to be able to optimize project feasibility and design.
You’ll be a great fit if you have a passion for helping to solve complex climate challenges and are committed to finding new innovative ways to preserve and enhance our planet. As a member of a rapidly growing startup with an excitement to learn new technologies, you’ll add incredible value as a self-starter and apply your technical skills to empower our customers to discover, purchase, and install the Torus products that will help them live clean, renewable lives.
