Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects and manage on-site operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising construction teams, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes.
Responsibilities
•
Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
•
Utilize construction management software to plan, track, and report on project progress.
•
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and project requirements.
•
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to review schematics and project plans.
•
Train and mentor team members, fostering a productive work environment.
•
Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations on-site.
•
Manage resources effectively, including materials and equipment, to optimize productivity.
•
Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing as needed during projects.
•
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of any issues or changes.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in construction management or a related field, with a strong understanding of pipeline construction processes. .
•
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
•
Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
•
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and stakeholders.
•
Knowledge of quality control practices within the construction industry is essential.
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
