Work Location:

On site at one of our Maverick Power facilities (McKinney, TX / Plano, TX / Garland, TX / Phoenix, AZ) and/or various customer locations within the USA.


Job Summary:

After customers purchase our equipment, you’re the one who will help to install, diagnose, and repair power distribution equipment. Your day is filled with a range of focused support and service tasks, you will gain satisfaction from building key relationships and bringing resolution and insight to each customer. Primary Function:

As a Field Service Technician, you will provide quick and efficient support by quickly assessing each situation and determining the best path forward. Sometimes you solve the problem with advice or a solution on the spot. Sometimes you will need to roll up your sleeves, dive in, and troubleshoot the heck out of it!

The job may require periods of extensive travel, but when you are not visiting customer sites, you will work locally with the testing department and utilize your skills to help validate our products as they move through the manufacturing process.


Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

· Travel to client sites and perform equipment set-up, operation, equipment adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks.

· Effectively train the customer on proper use of equipment.

· Identify problems, test solutions, and report findings.

· Demonstrate advanced knowledge of industrial automation and power distribution equipment.

· Willingness and ability to work overtime, including working a flexible and variable schedule as needed to meet customer needs.

· Ability to understand and follow blueprints, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications.

· Ability to diagnose electrical systems using multimeters and other appropriate equipment.


Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent time management skills with ability to make decisions quickly and communicate effectively.

· Able to maintain composure and customer focus while troubleshooting and solving issues.

· Advanced troubleshooting skills and understanding of schematics.

· Minimum of 5+ years of experience in industrial equipment installation, servicing, and repairs or related fields.

· Ability to be flexible with your schedule as work hours will be based on business needs.


· Ability to travel within the USA

· Valid Driver’s License and acceptable drive record required.


Education and Experience:

· High School or GED Diploma, Associates Degree, or Certification in related fields preferred.


Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting, standing, and performing repetitive tasks.

· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.

Work Environment:

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for extended periods. Required to lift 40lbs.
