Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and demonstrate proficiency in various technical tasks related to vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and generator repair. This role is essential for ensuring the operational efficiency of our equipment and vehicles, providing high-quality service to our clients.
Duties
•
Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
•
Conduct automotive repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
•
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in diesel engines and other machinery.
•
Repair generators and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
•
Interpret schematics and technical drawings to assist in repairs and installations.
•
Weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.
•
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
•
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their service needs.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and automotive repair.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose complex issues.
•
Experience in generator repair is preferred.
•
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation.
•
Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus.
•
Ability to weld is desirable but not mandatory.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
•
A valid driver's license is required.
