Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of heavy machinery and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Duties
•
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and semi trucks and trailers.
•
Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and techniques.
•
Align and adjust equipment components to ensure optimal performance.
•
Repair electrical systems, including wiring and soldering as needed.
•
Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
•
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
•
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities performed on equipment.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role.
•
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and automotive diagnostics.
•
Ability to maintain, align, and repair heavy machinery effectively.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
•
Strong communication skills.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•
Relevant certifications or training in heavy equipment mechanics is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
