JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Description: Rawson Materials, a quality aggregate producer, is seeking a highly-qualified, self-motivated individual with a demonstrated background in heavy equipment operation.

Hours: Monday- Friday 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 6:00 am – 12:00 p.m., as needed.
Reporting: Plant Foreman
Requisites:
•
At least 18 years of age.
•
Hydraulic License required.
•
Prior experience operating a variety of heavy equipment, at least a CAT 966 (or similar).
•
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
•
Excellent vision or the use of prescribed lenses.
•
Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
•
A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines.
•
Capacity to provide and follow direction.
•
Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure.
•
Ability to work extended hours, as required.
Responsibilities:
•
Maneuvering motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials.
•
Loading and offloading rocks, debris, and other materials from heavy equipment.
•
Observing stipulated safety codes at all times.
•
Communicating with coworkers to ensure operation of the site is efficient and safe. Communicating with truck drivers before and after loading the trucks to ensure safety.
•
Reporting injuries and other accidents to the Plant Foreman.
•
Advising the Plant Foreman of requisite upgrades, repairs, and replacements.
•
Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
