This position has the opportunity for promotion to Foreman and Supervisor in the future.

Role and Responsibilities

The Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator will work in conjunction with the Project Supervisors and the Owner to perform site excavation and flatwork projects. Must be able to perform physical labor, able to perform repetitive movement, bending or twisting, has the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., willing to listen and learn on the job site, and maintain awareness of surroundings and personnel. The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and technically proficient operation of the equipment assigned. The Heavy Equipment Operator is required to efficiently perform the following day-to-day tasks:

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Must possess a valid Driver’s License and Hoisting License (2A) with three to five years of operating experience* in the construction industry to apply as a Heavy Equipment Operator (e.g. excavators, backhoes, loaders, dozers, etc.)
