HR Manager Job Summary:
Advanced Chemical Company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that our HR strategy aligns with our business goals while fostering a positive workplace culture deeply rooted in ACC's core values.
Qualifications (Must Haves):
•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
•7+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources management, with a focus on developing and implementing new programs and managing compensation structures including incentive-based programs, commissions, and bonuses.
•Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations, particularly those related to compensation and benefits.
•Proven experience with HRIS and other HR technology solutions, including ADP Payroll, Fidelity 401k management, vacation tracking systems, and Google Sheets for data analysis.
•Proficiency in using video conferencing and other remote communication tools.
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
•Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple locations.
•Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
•SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is highly preferred.
Outcomes & Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement new HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, with a focus on enhancing company culture.
•Develop and implement new HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with ACC's goals and industry best practices, including the design and administration of incentive-based compensation programs, commission structures, and bonus plans.
•Modernize existing HR systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness at ACC.
•Provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees across multiple ACC locations, utilizing video conferencing, email, and other technologies.
•Manage recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for ACC, including remote interviewing and onboarding.
•Oversee employee benefits, compensation, and performance management programs at ACC, including administration of ADP Payroll and Fidelity 401k. This includes accurate calculation and administration of commissions, bonuses, and incentive programs.
•Handle complex employee relations issues and ensure compliance with labor laws across all ACC locations.
•Develop and deliver engaging training and development programs for ACC, both in-person and virtually.
•Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of programs, and make data-driven recommendations for ACC, including utilizing Google Sheets for analysis.
•Manage the HR budget and resources efficiently for ACC.
•Oversee benefits administration, ensuring employees are informed about their options and assisting with any inquiries, while promoting a culture of care.
•Implement performance management systems to enhance employee productivity and engagement, fostering a culture of growth.
•Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including OSHA standards, maintaining a culture of safety.
•Utilize HR software such as PeopleSoft, Kronos, Dayforce, and ADP for efficient HR operations.
•Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline HR functions and enhance service delivery, promoting a culture of efficiency.
•Facilitate training programs and professional development opportunities for staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
•Communicate effectively with employees regarding policies, procedures, and organizational changes, maintaining transparency and trust.
•Manage employee relations issues, providing conflict resolution support when necessary, fostering a harmonious work environment.
