We are currently seeking an IT Manager to join our Red Deer Office. This position will Manage IT Systems & Operations by overseeing the company IT systems, data operations, and network security to ensure reliability, efficiency, and protection against cyber threats.

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

• Drive Technology Improvements - Identify, research, and implement new technologies to enhance automation, productivity, and competitive advantage

• Support & Train Employees - Provide training and ongoing support to ensure employees effectively use technology and maximize system benefits

• Lead IT Team - Manage IT staff by setting expectations, providing training, and evaluating performance to maintain a high-functioning team.

• Oversee IT Budget & Compliance - Manage the IT budget, ensure cost-effective solutions, and maintain policies, security protocols, and compliance standards.

Education & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field

• 5+ years of IT leadership and management experience

• Experience with network administration and installation (including Windows Server, Hyper-V, and VMware)

• Expertise in data management and governance

• Knowledge of software development methodologies and coding 9web frameworks, client-server models, and systems development life cycle)

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Effective time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to anticipate and manage change proactively
