Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operational tasks within our facility, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
•
Operate excavators, loaders, trenchers, jackhammers and any other equipment needed to install underground utilities along with hand digging, laying cables and any other labor required to complete restoration.
•
Individuals with Class A or B License to not only drive but also take on tole of a laborer/operator (Class A or B License is not a requirement)
•
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•
Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
•
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
•
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Experience
•
Previous experience in a labor or operator role is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
•
Familiarity with operating heavy machinery or industrial equipment is a plus.
•
Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in an industrial setting is beneficial.
•
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
