Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operational tasks within our facility, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
•Operate excavators, loaders, trenchers, jackhammers and any other equipment needed to install underground utilities along with hand digging, laying cables and any other labor required to complete restoration.
•Individuals with Class A or B License to not only drive but also take on tole of a laborer/operator (Class A or B License is not a requirement)
•Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
•Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
•Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
•Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Experience
•Previous experience in a labor or operator role is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
•Familiarity with operating heavy machinery or industrial equipment is a plus.
•Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in an industrial setting is beneficial.
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
