The EHS Lead Specialist NAM position reports hierarchically to the Specialty Teams EHS Manager and provides day-to-day EHS support for a set of sites within a region or department, considering all WTG generators within the region, warehouses and service sites, field technicians, managers, contractors, and staff within the define scope.
They are the interface between the EHS specialists managing site and operational topics, to other departments, managing tasks and provide EHS advice to proposed solutions; Assist and support stage-gate reviews for project/product development, monitor concerns from site which require Backoffice support in more long-running developments; develop streamlined initiatives to coordinate resolutions to trends observed at site levels from multiple sites/geographical separations. Serve as an escalation point for customer resolution and POC for multi-site customers. The EHS Lead Specialist is also a key advisor and support to local Service Managers.Job Description
Must meet one* of the following: + High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 5 years of direct, full time EHS experience in EHS OR general industry. + Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in occupational safety and health and 3 years of direct, fulltime EHS Experience in EHS Or general industry. + Certified by BCSP (ASP, CSP, CIH or CHST) + Valid (up to date) OSHA #500 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry OR OSHA #501 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry
The base pay range for this position is $85,200 - $142,500 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation of 10%. This posting is expected to close no earlier than February 27, 2024.
