Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing, with the ability to handle various tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. This role requires a high level of mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
•
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
•
Interpret and work from schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
•
Perform pipe threading and welding as necessary for various plumbing applications.
•
Assemble and install valves, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, and drainage systems.
•
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
•
Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure integrated system functionality.
•
Provide maintenance person services for minor repairs and remodeling projects as needed.
•
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety standards are met.
Experience
•
Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction plumbing preferred.
•
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing work.
•
Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations is essential.
•
Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and provide efficient solutions.
•
Experience in remodeling projects is a plus, showcasing versatility in skills.
