Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Technician to join our team in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various restoration processes, including fire restoration, mold remediation, and water damage restoration. As a Lead Technician, you will oversee projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards while leading a team of technicians.
Duties
•
Supervise and coordinate restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
•
Perform contents pack-outs, fire restoration, mold remediation, water damage restoration, and asbestos abatement as required.
•
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
•
Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices in the restoration industry.
•
Conduct inspections of work sites to assess damage and determine necessary repairs or restoration processes.
•
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.
•
Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
•
Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order and report any issues promptly.
Skills
•
Proficient in fire restoration techniques and practices.
•
Knowledgeable in asbestos abatement procedures and safety protocols.
•
Experienced with power tools and hand tools used in the restoration process.
•
Familiarity with mold remediation methods and regulations.
•
Strong understanding of water damage restoration processes.
•
Ability to build rapport with clients and lead a team effectively.
•
Experience in carpet cleaning techniques is a plus.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Requirements
•
3 years experience as a lead technician in water and fire mitigation, contents pack-outs, and other restoration work.
•
WTR (Water Restoration Technician) certification
