The Legal Intern at RWE Clean Energy will work with industry experts, contribute to real-world projects, forge valuable connections, and grow personally and professionally in the sustainable energy sector. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Legal Services but engaging in projects from across the legal function, including M&A, real estate, compliance, and regulatory, the intern will assist with legal research, contract and lease review, M&A diligence, and corporate governance matters.

This is a full-time 12-week summer internship starting the first week of June in our Austin, TX, or Chicago, IL, office.

Pay range: The base hourly range for this position in Illinois for undergraduates is $25.00-$35.00 an hour, and for graduates is $30.00-$40.00. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
