PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The position will be within the Shops Department and is responsible for performing general mechanical maintenance on power plant equipment. The Shop team supports a culture of continuous improvement by participating in training, reinforcing standards, reporting, and mitigating unsafe or undesirable conditions, and utilizing the corrective action program. This position may regularly require 20% travel. Position Scope: Position reports to CGS Maintenance Foreman The incumbent in this position must be able to communicate across all levels of the organization. Knowledge of plant equipment functions including safety rules and rigging, construction and maintenance practices. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex mechanical problems and make repairs.
