Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications, and demonstrate proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. This role requires a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Master Electrician will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and mentoring junior electricians. Job comes with company pickup.
Responsibilities
•Lead and manage electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
•Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with NEC standards.
•Conduct inspections of electrical systems and components using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure functionality and safety.
•Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
•Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
•Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly and efficiently, implementing effective solutions.
•Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols related to power tools and equipment.
Qualifications
•Valid Master Electrician license or certification.
•Must have Commercial Industrial experience
•Extensive knowledge of NEC regulations and low voltage systems.
•Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role within the construction industry.
•Proficient in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
•Strong troubleshooting skills with experience using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
•Familiarity with power tools commonly used in electrical installations.
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
