Description: POSITION SUMMARY: The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, preparing, and distributing materials and products within our manufacturing facilities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•

Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely material flow and support production needs

•

Receive and unload incoming materials and products

•

Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments and report any discrepancies

•

Organize and store materials and products in designated areas

•

Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications

•

Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies

•

Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently

•

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area

Must have good vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions

Must be in good physical condition, must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e., bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, etc.) to perform essential job functions

Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds of force frequently

•

Ability to work while standing for a long period of time

•

Ability to climb ladders, work on lifts, stoop, and bend on a regular basis

•

Must be able to read, write, and measure product and labels.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to focus and to differentiate between colors and shades of colors

•

Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment

•

Able to wear required PPE in designated safety areas

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

•

High School diploma or equivalent

•

Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

•

Ability to operate material handling equipment, forklift certification required

•

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

•

Good computer / data entry skills

•

Strong interpersonal skills

•

Flexible with the ability to adapt to changing work environments

•

Ability to work independently and safely with limited supervision

•

Organized and able to follow direction and established procedures
