Job Description:

General Objectives:

Reporting to the Metallurgical Lab Supervisor, the Metallurgical Technician would work a rotating 12 hr schedule, straight day shift. The Met Tech performs duties in the Metallurgy lab conducting test work on pad, plant and lab samples. This test work may include, but is not limited to: column tests, bottle rolls, cyanide, caustic and lime titrations, particle size and carbon activity determinations. Additional tasks may include sample collection, sample preparation, accurate, precise data and record keeping and also may include analytical duties in the Assay lab when backfill is required. Specific Metallurgical Technician duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Required Skills:* Ability to effectively report all incidents and accidents to supervisor

Required Experience:* Knowledge of the principles and methods used in complex metallurgical and processing analysis, hands-on practical application of the process optimization is highly preferred
