Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of industry standards and safety protocols. This role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality welds and finished products.
Duties
•
Perform MIG welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
•
Utilize power tools and equipment effectively for cutting, shaping, and fabricating metal components.
•
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the necessary welding processes and materials required.
•
Conduct inspections of completed welds using tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy.
•
Fabricate ductwork and other metal structures as per project requirements.
•
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents.
•
Design and fabricate jigs for production welding
•
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Skills
•
Proficient in MIG welding techniques with a solid understanding of FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding).
•
Familiarity with power tools, including grinders, saws, and drills.
•
Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding practices.
•
Experience in fabricating metal components, particularly ductwork.
•
Ability to use measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers accurately.
•
Capable of operating forklifts safely in a manufacturing environment.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
•
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within the team.
