OLA, formerly known as Oilfield Labs of America, is a third party laboratory located in Cheyenne, WY. We specialize in oilfield laboratory testing, as well as field sampling and testing under our technical program. Our team are seeking highly motivated oil and gas field technicians who are interested in joining a technical and progressive company. Field technicians should have a strong background in on-site sampling and testing and be versed in oilfield practices and procedures. Safety requirements include: Safeland, H2S Clear, CPR and Blood-born Pathogens, etc. Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience. The work for this position will be mostly centered around the Casper and Gillette, Wyoming.
The job duties listed are typical examples of the work performed by this position. Not all duties are included, nor is it expected that all laboratory supervisors will perform every duty.
•Conducts mechanical and wet chemical field tests for analysis of production fluids and solids to support the field operations
•Releases routine data for analysis where competency has been established
•Prepares chemical field kits for use and performs regular maintenance checks on their direct report’s field kits and equipment.
•Ensures daily samples delivered are correctly labeled and a data quality meets the expectations of the lab.
•Follows good housekeeping practices
•Ensures compliance with all applicable quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
•Ensures vehicles are maintained, inspected, and tags are up to date.
•Provides support to the lead field technician and/ or direct supervisor were requested
