Description


Position Summary

This position is responsible for filling lubricants into containers (340-gallon size and less) using high-speed automated filling equipment. Position tasks include inspecting products/machinery, cleaning area, configuring, and operating production equipment according to documented procedures and other instructions provided by management. Incumbent is responsible for following all safety and quality regulations related to the position.

Essential Job Functions
Setup, operate, maintain, and keep equipment on production line running efficiently.
Carry out regular quality checks.
Complete quality checklists, filling result reports, and perform basic math.
Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment defects/malfunctions, safety issues/concerns, and quality concerns immediately to management.
Communicate with co-workers, supervisors, other shifts, and other departments openly and clearly.
Conduct regular housekeeping and assist other lines during downtime or when work is complete.
Stop production due to safety and/or quality concerns.
Start work without supervisor’s instruction.
Lift, push, or pull 40 pounds regularly.
Operate forklift.


Qualifications


Minimum Requirements


Education


High School Diploma or GED


Experience


2+ years in a manufacturing environment desired.

Previous experience operating high speed manufacturing equipment is helpful.


Job Knowledge/Special Skills/Abilities

Able to lift 40 pounds regularly.
Able to be on feet for extended periods of time.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Good problem-solving skills and mathematical skills.
Able to learn, improve skills, and be coached.
Self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work in a group setting or independently.
Work well with team members.
Able to trouble shoot intermediate machine problems.
Able to use equipment safely and for their intended purpose. Able to be safety minded.
