Pipefitter

Fortis is a privately owned company based out of Saskatoon, SK that provides mining, engineering, and manufacturing services to the mining and construction industries. The company has a global focus that offers contracting, subcontracting, and consulting services to a wide range of customers.

We have an immediate need for a highly motivated, safety-conscious Pipefitter for a short-term project. The Pipefitter’s primary responsibilities include install, maintenance, and repair of all gas-fired equipment and piping systems. This will be accomplished through the ability to review and interpret blueprints and other diagrams to understand requirements. The Pipefitter must possess technical knowledge of how to properly fit pipe and identify the right type for the job. The ability to troubleshoot and identify corrective actions on-site is an asset. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test will be required as a condition of employment.
