Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in all work performed.
Duties
•
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
•
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
•
Assemble and install valves, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, or other liquids.
•
Perform pipe threading and ensure proper connections are made to prevent leaks.
•
Collaborate with HVAC technicians as needed to ensure integrated system functionality.
•
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
•
Respond promptly to service calls for repairs or maintenance work.
•
Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites.
Skills
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
•
Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing installations.
•
Experience with pipe threading techniques and tools.
•
Familiarity with HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing functions.
•
Ability to work collaboratively with carpenters and other trades on construction sites.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
•
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
