Powder Coater - Day & Swing Shift

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Read job orders and inspect work pieces to determine work procedures and materials required.

· Load parts to be powder coated to paint line.

· Use spray gun to evenly distribute powder coat onto parts.

· Examine finished surfaces of work pieces to verify conformance to specifications; then retouch any defective areas.

· Establish and maintain the safety protocols.

· Assist in the cleaning and maintaining of tools and equipment, using solvents, brushes, and rags.

· Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

· Remove parts from the coating line and place in an appropriate place for assembly and/or packaging.

· Other duties as deemed appropriate by supervisor and management.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum High School or equivalent.

· Powder coating experience preferred.

· Candidate must be a strong team player and reliable.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

· Constantly stand and/or walk.

· Constantly work in extreme environment, with proper PPE.

· Must have hand/eye coordination with good hand dexterity; fingers need to be able to make small movements such as picking up small to large parts.

· Frequently able to move, carry, lift 25 lbs.

WAGE

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour.
