Summary

As a Process Engineering Intern at Summit Nanotech, you will contribute to the development and optimization of chemical processes that drive sustainable energy solutions.

This role involves hands-on laboratory work, process analysis, and collaboration with the engineering team to enhance Summit’s technologies.

You will gain valuable experience in process development, data analysis, and experimental research to support innovative advancements in the field.

Please note this opportunity is for a current student enrolled in a Chemistry or related degree program and is a 4 month (May - August) contract


Duties & Responsibilities

Assist in operating and managing column systems, including preparing and handling synthetic fluids for experiments.
Collect, analyze and review experimental data, ensuring accuracy and reliability
Summarize findings through data presentations, including reports, graphs, and tables. Identify opportunities for process optimization and provide suggestions to improve system performance
Support the preparation of technical reports, safety protocols, and procedural documentation.
Conduct literature reviews and summarize key insights to support ongoing research and development.
Maintain and organize laboratory equipment, chemicals and materials.
Collaborate with the team to ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices.

Skills and Qualities

Enrolled in Chemistry or related program.

Strong understanding of chemistry principles, lab practices, and safety protocols.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
