Production Machine Operator [Centerless Grinding]

In order to increase the capacity of our Grinding Department, LongBar Grinding, Inc is seeking to employ an additional Production Machine Operators. The Production Machine Operators will be trained in house on LongBar’s operating procedures.

Job Summary:

The Production Machine Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production.

Duties/Responsibilities: * Operates production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications. Assigned machines may include centerless grinders, bar straightening presses, cutting saws, and similar equipment.

Required Skills/Abilities: * Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.

Education and Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
