Quality Control Inspector Duties and Responsibilities

Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet standards
Determining the causes of product defects and reworks
Verifying all equipment is calibrated correctly
Document issues noticed during measurement or visual inspection tests
Make suggestions to increase product consistency
Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Compile First Article Reports (FAI)
Conduct a final inspection before production is complete


Quality Control Inspector Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or GED certificate
Ability to read blueprints and use precise measurement tools, such as a micrometer and caliper
Attention to detail
Working knowledge of precision sheet metal fabrication processes
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Work Experience:

- 1 year minimum verifiable work experience in a similar position

- Most recent employment in a similar position with separation on good terms

Employment Type/Hours: Full Time / 40hrs

Day Shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM

Overtime as needed

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
