Quality Manager
Job Purpose:
The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all processes and products meet the highest quality and safety standards in a Welding/Fabrication Job Shop.
Tasks:
•
Develop and implement quality and safety programs for welding processes
•
Ensure compliance with AISC standards and other relevant regulations
•
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
•
Develop and implement corrective actions to address quality and safety issues
•
Train and educate employees on quality and safety standards and procedures
•
Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout the manufacturing process
•
Manage and maintain quality and safety documentation and records
•
Lead investigations into quality and safety incidents and develop and implement corrective actions
Qualifications:
•
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field are highly desirable.
•
Minimum of 5 years of Quality related experience required.
•
Minimum 3 years of Management/Leadership required.
•
Previous manufacturing experience highly desirable.
Requirements:
•
Experience in manufacturing, steel fabrications, quality, and safety management
•
Knowledge of AISC standards and other relevant regulations
•
Strong leadership and communication skills
•
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders
•
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
•
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
