Hours are M- F 7-330pm.
Purpose and Scope of Job:
Primarily responsibility for the validation of all products produced from manufacturing and assembly processes, in-process auditing of manufacturing and assembly operations in accordance with ISO-9001, proper use and maintenance of measurement tools and equipment.
Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned):
•Perform Qualifying Inspections of internally and externally manufactured/modified products to ensure that they meet defined design requirements
•Perform Inspection and Testing of Manufactured Assemblies for conformance to design and configuration requirements and processing Certificates of Compliance
•Identifying and Reporting of Non-conformances of product or processes
•Perform In-Process performance and ISO surveillance audits to ensure the documented procedures are followed.
•Provide support for Corrective Action investigations
Minimum Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment as an Inspector, Auditor, Technician, Machinist, Manufacturing Support Technician, or Assembler
•Basic Knowledge of Quality Control practices
•Knowledge and ability to properly use measurement tools.
•Knowledge and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications including GD&T and AWS Weld Symbology.
•Working Knowledge (Create & Edit) of MS Office Documents (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
•Mathematical knowledge to include basic Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics (in relation to SPC) and basic math problem solving skills.

Desired Qualifications:
•Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality System Standards, Corrective Action, PPAP, and Discrepant Material management
•Knowledge and Experience in metrology, calibration, and SPC Analysis
•Working Knowledge creating and editing CMM inspection programs.
•Experience participating or leading continuous improvement events (i.e., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen).
