Job Summary:

Carmeuse Americas Savage Operation specializes in processing high-calcium limestone into specified granules and powders for use in a variety of commercial and industrial applications. Responsibilities of the position includes operation of front end loader to maintain the flow of materials and product; barge loading and unloading; performs general plant cleanup; feeds raw material to plant operations and other duties as assigned by management. This is a dynamic position that gains exposure to all areas of our operations, based on the business need. This position will have the opportunity to learn how to perform plant operations and maintenance as well as loading and unloading barges.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Responsibilities of the position includes operation of front-end loader to maintain the flow of materials and product; barge loading and unloading; utilizing skid steer; general plant cleanup; maintains conveyor systems, and other duties as assigned by management. This is a dynamic position that gains exposure to all areas of our operations, based on the business need. This position will have the opportunity to learn how to perform plant operations and maintenance as well as loading and unloading barges. All positions are considered safety sensitive.
