Scale Operator

Summary

The Scale Operator is responsible for correctly and proficiently monitoring and recording scrap volumes entering the facility on the inbound scale. This position will be trained in general knowledge of metal commodities. The physical environment requires this position to be both indoors and outdoors. This position will be trained to weigh and pay customers. This position is customer-focused and fast-paced. Performs other tasks as assigned.

+ Scaling trucks/customers in and out + Create documents for outbound shipments + Collect inspection ticket information and input data + Look up pricing to give prices over the phone + Forward calls to management when necessary.

Qualifications

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Saturdays as scheduled. Schedule is subject to change to facilitate business and production needs.
