Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team to support a mine site in Saskatchewan, near Flin Flon Manitoba. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients' mine site, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies to protect property and ensure the safety of individuals on-site.

This will be a mine-support role, with camp-accommodations, and a 14/14 shift.

Responsibilities

•

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.

•

Operate and maintain CCTV systems to ensure effective surveillance coverage.

•

Conduct regular inspections of premises, including doors, windows, and security systems.

•

Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.

•

Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide information.

•

Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and safety protocols.

•

Document daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities in a clear and concise manner.

•

Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.

Qualifications

•

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or loss prevention is preferred.

•

Previous experience in supporting a mine or industrial site in a security or similar role

•

Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.

•

Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.

•

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

•

Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

•

Must possess a valid security license or certification as required by local regulations.
