Responsibilities
•Develop, lead, and oversee a range of civil engineering projects, including land development, water/wastewater infrastructure, and stormwater management, taking a hands-on role in the design process.
•Perform detailed civil engineering design for projects including grading, drainage, utility layout, and roadway design.
•Lead and perform site development engineering, project management, and construction management activities, including the effective supervision and mentorship of junior staff and construction inspectors.
•Create, review, and approve engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and specifications, ensuring technical accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements by clients and regulatory agencies.
•Oversee project timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and billing processes to ensure efficient and successful project completion.
•Contribute to business development efforts through client engagement and identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
•Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering.
•Proficiency in engineering design software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
•Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly desirable.
