Overview
Operate multiple machine tools to fabricate metal or plastic components, and make approximately half of the setup independently.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:* Produces parts from raw materials in bars or flat forms, casting and forging materials, ferrous and non-ferrous metals and plastics using various machine tools, assorted hand tools, measuring devices, and tool steels and carbides,Experience* Minimum of 1 year vocational technical training or equivalent experience,
Meets required experience, skill, and behavior competencies to make Machine Operator II* Senior Machine Operator transition
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* Ability to read blueprints and work to drawing tolerances,
