Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Quality Assurance Leader to join our team and support the manufacture of critical systems that drive our utility manufacturing operations. Reporting directly to the Corporate Quality Manager, this role requires collaboration between Quality and Production and Management Teams. As a QA Leader, you will be working out of our Canton, Ohio facility and will be responsible for managing quality control processes to ensure products or services meet standards. This Senior Quality Assurance Leader also leads the local Quality Department team, analyzing data, and implementing improvement strategies. They also lead quality assurance teams, analyze data, and implement improvement strategies. These Quality Assurance duties may include examining shipments of inventory and raw goods and meeting the needs of our growing business.


Key Job Responsibilities:

· Floor Leadership: Conduct inspections and tests directly on the manufacturing floor for raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.

· ISO Compliance: Develop and maintain quality policies and procedures aligned with ISO9001 and ISO27001.

· Team Oversight: Lead quality teams, coordinate real-time testing, and drive process improvements.

· Data Analysis: Identify trends, address quality issues, and implement corrective actions.

· Collaboration: Partner with production and operations to ensure consistent quality.

· Documentation: Maintain inspection reports, calibration records, and compliance documentation.

· Final Inspections: Oversee product inspections before shipment to meet quality benchmarks.

· Problem Resolution: Conduct root cause analyses and implement sustainable solutions.


Position Requirements:


· High school diploma or GED certificate.

· Strong understanding of quality control principles, including QA/QC methodologies.

· Familiarity with sheet metal manufacturing operations, including press brake operations, welding, powder coat systems, and blueprint reading.

· Proficiency in precision measuring instruments such as calipers.

· Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO27001 standards and quality management systems.

· Strong analytical skills to evaluate test results and draw meaningful conclusions.

· Ability to read prints, assembly drawings, and follow detailed work instructions.


· Mechanical knowledge is a plus.

· Computer proficiency and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

· Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.

· Assertive leadership skills to make confident decisions and motivate teams.
