Service Manager – Pat Plumbing, Heating, Air and Electric, Topeka, Kansas

Plumbing, Heating, Air and Electric is seeking a dynamic Service Manager

to join our team in Topeka, Kansas. In this role, you will lead our Plumbing,

HVAC, and Electrical Service Departments, ensuring excellent customer service,

meeting revenue goals, and fostering a positive team environment. If you have a

Key Responsibilities:

•

Lead and supervise teams in HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical Services.

•

Manage technician assignments, setting goals, KPIs, and ensuring performance targets are met.

•

Resolve customer complaints and ensure exceptional service in every interaction.

•

Assist in budgeting, controlling expenses, and promoting company culture.

•

Train and develop staff, conduct regular coaching, and provide feedback.

•

Foster relationships with local schools and trade organizations to recruit top talent.

•

Oversee the recruitment and hiring process for technicians and staff.

•

Coordinate operational procedures and ensure a smooth, efficient workflow.

What We’re Looking For:

•

5+ years of management experience

•

Master licensed in Plumbing, HVAC, or Electrical preferred.

•

A strong ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team to meet company goals.

•

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

•

Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks.

•

A passion for customer service and a positive, proactive attitude.

•

A commitment to promoting a healthy work environment and a strong company culture.

Compensation & Benefits:

•

Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 per year

•

Bonus: $40,000 per year (paid quarterly when Monthly Gross Profit targets are met)

•

Phone Compensation: $45.00 per month

•

Gas Card for personal vehicle

•

Laptop for work-related tasks

Work Schedule:

•

Typical hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility required for peak times and emergencies)

•

Some evening or weekend work may be necessary based on project needs.
